It’s 50 years since the debut of the first #barcode scan! On June 26, 1974, a 10-pack of WRIGLEY’S® JUICY FRUIT® gum marked with a UPC was scanned at a supermarket checkout in Ohio, marking a pivotal moment in retail history.
