About us
Waiākea Hawaiian Volcanic Water was founded in 2012 on a platform of putting people and planet above profit. Drink Healthy, Drink Sustainably, Drink Ethically! Our mission is to provide healthy, delicious, Hawaiian volcanic water to people throughout the world with as little impact as possible. Our sustainable practices include using 33% renewable energy, using bottles made from 100% rPET and using water from one of the most sustainable sources in the world, the Kea'au Aquifer. On top of this, every bottle bought guarantees funding through PumpAid.Org that provides over 650 liters of clean water to those in need in developing countries.. Waiākea is truly unlike any other water on the planet.

How does your brand create memorable experiences while swimming in a crowd of 20,000? That was the challenge this past weekend at the Honolulu Night Market in Our Kaka'ako for our team at Waiākea. This led to: - the inaugural Jan Ken Po 🪨 📄 ✂️ Challenge w/John - TikTok 🤳 shoots and Polaroids w/props at our photo wall led by/our resident Gen Z teammember, Jennifer - plot twists like free water but only if you take two bottles 🤔 - giveaways, and more 💥 Mahalo to Geoli, Jenny, John, Marissa, Lange, and Jon for all the work in the lead up to the event and throughout the night 👊 And a special thanks to Kiana Cayabyab for jumping right in with the fam and greeting folks with a smile! Big ups to Christopher, Tyler, Matthew, and Gina for the kōkua in getting our product here from the Big Island in time 💪 and thank you to our Distribution Partner, The Odom Corporation, for their help with delivery.
