Did you see Melinda French Gates on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night? We're thrilled she not only talked about our work but also the urgent need to fund organizations specifically like us and our friends at Vote Mama. Watch the full conversation: https://lnkd.in/gjK-3RKQ We are grateful for Melinda French Gates and Pivotal Ventures support. It's critical to ensuring women's voices are heard in politics, especially now, in this historic moment. But we need to all work together as a community, and as a movement. Together, we are elevating these issues among candidates, elected officials, and beyond, because we know that they are not "women's issues" but issues that affect all Americans. Join us!

About us
Vote Run Lead trains women to run for office. And win. With more than 55,000 women trained to run for office, Vote Run Lead is the largest and most diverse campaign and leadership program in the country. We work to equip women with the right know-how, trainings and how-to’s to help them enter politics with a purpose. We believe that by empowering women to run as they are, they will build a campaign based on their own passion, their own ideas and their own values.

A Black woman president would mark a new founding of American democracy, and a momentous milestone in our history. 🗽 Everyone wants the next generation of women and girls to have better access to healthcare, a stronger democracy, and a more just and equitable society. We believe the answer to the threat of authoritarianism is strong, smart women leaders. We will continue our work training women and gender-expansive people interested in running for office or managing campaigns, and also want to offer an important way to channel our collective hunger for change: We must show up for the people and organizations like ours that are working to increase Black women’s political power. Follow them, learn from them, and most importantly, support Black women candidates and the organizational forces behind them. 💪
