Visit North Carolina team members Wit Tuttell, Heidi Walters CHME, Scott Peacock and Hanna Huckabee visited Meghann Lambeth at the Richmond County Tourism Development Authority last week to learn more about how shooting sports and hunting are driving tourism and broader economic development in and around Ellerbe. The team visited Coleman's Creek, one of the most elite long-range shooting and military training facilities on the East Coast. From there they toured one of the state's premiere quail hunting lodges, The Webb Farm. They rounded out the day by experiencing DeWitt's Outdoor Sports which offers a variety of activities and education and also met with N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission's John Lentz Hunter Education Complex where they learned about the gun safety and training programs they offer at their newly renovated facility. And no trip to Ellerbe would be complete without a stop at one of North Carolina's best roadside stands, The Berry Patch, where they got some of the best ice cream in the state, tasted some delicious fresh-picked winter strawberries and learned about their new agritourism center opening soon. See below for a video of the day. https://lnkd.in/ebefYPYP #visitrichmondcounty #visitnc #econdev #makeityournature #outdoornc #lnt
