This weekend, VisitErie hosts the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) at the Bayfront Landing following previous successful conferences in 2017 and 2013. The conference saw a record number of registrants for Erie, with more than 1,000 students and educators in attendance from across Pennsylvania in attendance. VisitErie is looking for a part-time Visitor Services Assistant! Job description below. ⬇ Visitor Services Assistant is responsible for providing guest services and acting as the in-person representative for VisitErie in the Erie Visitor Center, maintaining a high level of customer service with direct guest interaction. Job Duties: · Greets and assist visitors by answering questions and handling requests for information and assistance in a friendly and accurate manner. · Maintain knowledge of Erie County venues, restaurants, bars, events, things to do and more · Maintain neat appearance of the Visitor Center · Ensure brochures and visitor guides are stocked and inventory is current · Maintain thorough knowledge of VisitErie campaigns, promotions, and products · Other duties as assigned   Qualifications: · Good working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and Excel · Self-starter; strong organizational skills, initiative, attention to detail and ability to multi-task · Neat and professional appearance · Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally, standing for long periods   Job Status: Part Time, Season (Memorial Day – Labor Day) Hours: 20 hours per week Rate: $15.00/hour    Interested applicants email your resume to [email protected] by April 25. #nowhiring #parttimejob
