The Texas Black Invitational Rodeo is this Saturday, July 27 at the Fair Park Dallas Coliseum: https://bit.ly/4fcjfkO 🖤 Presented by the African American Museum of Dallas, the family-fun rodeo features Black cowboys and cowgirls competing for cash prizes in bronc and bull riding, calf and steer roping, barrel racing and a Pony Express relay race plus on-field kids activities, trick lasso performances, concessions, music and more. ▶️ More than just an action-packed event, the rodeo highlights the significant historical contributions of African Americans in settling the western United States. Ash began his culinary career at The Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Beach and expanded his expertise at luxury hotels like The Little Nell and St. Regis in Aspen under Chef Todd English. In Las Vegas, he worked at Mandalay Bay, The Palm’s Michelin star restaurant Alize, and led banquets at Wynn Las Vegas. He is not only a culinary artist but also a passionate advocate for local, homegrown talent. Believing in Dallas' potential as an emerging culinary hub, he aims to counter the influx of big-name chain restaurants, hoping to reshape the city's tastes and style with his unique approach.
