Assess, Improve and Master Your Virtual Presence

About us

Work today has no limits. Our success depends less on where we are and more on having impact wherever we are — and these days that’s often through video communications. Virtual Sapiens leverages AI/ML to help professionals and teams assess, improve and master their virtual presence. Like a virtual coach, Virtual Sapiens leverages expert knowledge in body language and presence and provides convenient avenues for receiving personalized feedback and coaching. Users can benchmark their video presence and improvement in their own time with our VIrtual Presence Assessment. Users can also use our in-call communication coach, the Sidekick, to receive in-call coaching nudges and encouragements to ensure every call is a success. Both solutions come with progress tracking analytics, so you can actually see your progress over time. Third party video platforms are invited to leverage our behavioral insights to amplify their users' impact via our API options.

This. Just In. Get a timeline of your nonverbal behaviors on any call or assessment. Being generally aware of your nonverbal behaviors is a competitive advantage in and of itself. But knowing how your behaviors evolve during a call can be even more indicative. ⭐ We have a new product feature that now shows you the flow of your video presence as a timeline, with your choice of seeing example screenshots of specific behaviors, at specific times. ⭐ We added this feature based on user feedback. People wanted more detailed insights into exactly when they were exhibiting the behaviors affecting their virtual presence score. Now you can follow the narrative of your behaviors. For instance, you can see how you start off strong with dynamic facial expressions, an upright posture and hands free from your face...only to lose these beneficial nonverbals as the call goes on. Or maybe it's the opposite... Try a free assessment for yourself and let us know what you think! https://lnkd.in/etgfHG56

The most popular AI topics these days are not always the most interesting…Ther did only so much you can talk about AI and content creation before you go 😵 😵   So the other day I invited our Virtual Sapiens advisor, Dr. Abbie Maroño, PhD to discuss some deeper areas of AI and human behavior. It's fascinating to think about how AI might be reshaping our social interactions and our communication behaviors in particular! Some key points I want to highlight: 🌟We should think about the side-effects of AI Dependency - which human skills might be weakening as a result? 🌟The shift towards digital communication can have a dampening effect on our nonverbal communication skills, an important component of effective human interaction. 🌟Our nonverbal communication skills require regular practice. Neglecting them can harm our relationships and professional success. Give this short video a listen to understand the double-edged sword of AI - while it offers unprecedented convenience and efficiency, it also challenges our traditional communication skills. Abbie is always open to providing valuable tips on how to enhance nonverbal communication skills in a world that is often connected by technology.

It's a dream to partner directly with HP as we all move towards an empowered future with humans unlocking real value from AI. The power of the AI PC is that it’s faster, more cost effective, secure and private than anything out on the market. When AI is delivered locally, we can transform the PC into a personal companion that unlocks superpowers, including confident communication - a cornerstone of our shared humanity. From the beginning our team saw the power in running our AI client side and on device. We are glad HP sees a bright future through this strategy as well, and look forward to continuing to work alongside HP to bring Virtual Sapiens technology to professionals across the globe. #HPImagineAI

How do you see video continuing to evolve as a channel of communication?🔊 This week, our CEO, Rachel Cossar welcomes Chris Savage, CEO of Wistia in an engaging and valuable discussion about the future of video communication. At Virtual Sapiens, we are rethinking video to foster deeper human connection. The demand for video content is insatiable, and AI is making video creation more accessible than ever. However, this shift also emphasizes the need for genuine human "spark"✨ We use AI not to replace the human element but to boost it. By improving the way individuals present themselves and communicate on video, we help them build trust and authenticity—qualities that are becoming increasingly important as social platforms prioritize personal connections over brand reach. 🖇Don't miss this episode - full video link in comments. Chris shares valuable lessons from his entrepreneurial journey embracing innovation and how we should embrace the future of video communication! #VideoCommunication #AI #HumanConnection #VirtualSapiens #FutureOfWork

It is a huge honor to be recognized as one of this year's #WomenWhoEmpower through Northeastern University. My journey with Northeastern started when I was dancing with Boston Ballet. I was part of the inaugural class of dancers who started taking academic classes at NEU. This was a big help in getting my undergrad while also dancing full time. During COVID, I did a TEDxNortheasternU. This was a meaningful milestone for me personally, and a wonderful experience in telling my story of transition and reinvention. In 2022, I participated in Techstars at the The Roux Institute at Northeastern University. This was a huge accelerator for Virtual Sapiens. I have so much to thank NEU for and am even more grateful now that I get to be part of such a phenomenal group of women. I look forward to what I can offer and bring to the table to continue to empower other women innovators in Boston, and beyond. Congratulations to all of the winners, and a big thank you to the judges and program admin for all of the work that goes into funding, and administering this important award! A great overview of some important tips to looking (and feeling) good on camera from Oliver Aust. My favorites here are number 1 and 3. Number 1️⃣ : giving yourself a moment to connect with your 'why', your communication goals and intentions can help you get present. When we are presenting on camera, it's easy to get distracted and have our minds wander. If we are more connected to our bodies and our purpose, our communication will be more congruent and our message will land with more clarity. Number 3️⃣ : We aren't designed to communicate to a screen. Being able to show up on camera in a way that feels present and authentic takes practice and developing specific skills. Many people still struggle with trying to make video communication feel like in-person. This is fight a losing battle. Instead, embrace the elements of video communication that are different in a good way! The convenience, the equity, the body language and expression - these are all things that are showcased on video. Of course, one of the best ways to improve your video presence is through practice and feedback. This is where Virtual Sapiens comes in as a helpful AI coaching tool! P.S. Thanks Kate Sotsenko ⏱️ for pinging me in the comment section and thanks to Oliver Aust for the great content.

Many leaders avoid cameras because they aim for perfection. But perfect is impossible. Instead, aim to be professional in front of the camera. Here are 10 easy ways to look great on camera. ⤵ 1 - Connect with yourself first 2 - Imagine your friend is sitting in the camera 3 - Accept it is an unnatural situation 4 - Define your objective 5 - Sharpen your message 6 - Familiarize yourself with the setting 7 - Don’t be an actor or newsreader 8 - Find your energy 9 - Watch yourself 10 - Get feedback from the audience 📹 What's your top tip to look good on camera? ♻ Please share to help your network.

In our latest episode of Conversations in The Future of Work, Rachel Cossar talks with Jake Braly to discuss the current landscape of marketing at a global tech startup 🌐 Take a look at this excerpt, where Jake emphasizes the importance of leveraging generative AI: "Generative AI is an important assistant, helping us gain different perspectives, approaches, and ideas. While it’s invaluable for refining and evolving concepts, human marketers remain irreplaceable." Rachel highlights an interesting observation: "AI-generated content often overuses high-brow language, impacting authenticity". Although we might have all the tech tools to help simplify communication, it is always important to coexist with the human-touch to cut through the noise. We believe in the power of combining human creativity with AI's capabilities🤖 How do you see the future of AI in marketing? 💫 Full video link in comments! #VirtualSapiens #MarketingInnovation #GenerativeAI #TechStartup #FutureOfMarketing
