Governor Glenn Youngkin re-appointed Wendy Lewis and Dale Mullen to the board effective July 1, 2024. Lewis is an office managing partner in KPMG’s Audit Practice. She was just re-elected for a second year as chair of the VBOA. As a partner at the law firm Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP, Mullen co-chairs the Business and Corporate Law Section. He is the board’s public member.

Nadia Rogers, CPA, is our next go-getter who influences the regulations and issues affecting CPAs. She is passionate about volunteering and serves as the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy vice chair and the AICPA State Board Committee chair. She is an associate professor at Virginia Tech and says "teaching is a dream come true. I really grew through the experience and realized that teaching was ultimately the career pathway I wanted to pursue.” Nadia’s advice for professional success is to “know your worth and know that you have a voice.
