Last month, we headed to the Embedded Vision Summit alongside MediaTek. There we partnered to show how together, we can accelerate machine learning and computer vision leveraging their innovative Genio board. For our joint demo, we enabled low latency face recognition at the edge. Here's how we achieved this: 📥 Downloaded viam-server onto their Genio board 👁️🗨️ Included our Vision Service and ML Model Service for computer vision and machine learning 👤 Deployed a Face Recognition Module from Viam’s Modular Registry A special shout out to Jeremy Hyde, Matt Vella, and Stéphane Le Provost from Mediatek’s team for bringing this together.
