* tl,dr: Reflecting on 1 Year of VHS Ventures. * One year ago today, after pulling together some capital and finalizing our thesis, I pulled together a glorified link tree that would become v1 of the website for VHS Ventures. I never truly thought I actually would get to this point, after helping build and grow firms for others. It was more of a "nice goal," something that was absolutely ambitious but unrealistic in my eyes. I kept feeling (and oftentimes still do feel) that there were a lot of people rooting against me, ready to relish in my inevitable failure. Today, I'm so glad I didn't succumb to them. I'll write more about this 1-year reflection in an upcoming edition of Le Cinq, but I just wanted to say thank you to the 16 incredible founders, 6 VHS Board of Advisors, LPs, and many, many ecosystem friends and colleagues (you know who you are) who ultimately took a chance on me and saved a seat at their respective tables. I'm beyond lucky and proud to have you sitting at my own. #longconsumer www.vhs.vc

Last Thursday, VHS Ventures hosted the inaugural Consumer Brews with our friends at Manufactured! It was an incredible turnout, and we can’t wait to host our next event in Feb.
