Let’s get to know Johnathan👇 Q: What is your favorite memory from working at Versapay so far?  “My favorite memory has to be our company homecoming in Arkansas. It was an absolute blast, and it felt almost like a pre-2020 experience. Since then, face-to-face interactions have been rare in the corporate world, so connecting in person with colleagues again was amazing. The energy, camaraderie, and seeing everyone outside of virtual meetings brought back a sense of normalcy and reminded me how energizing and important in-person connections can be.” Q: Please explain your career path up to your current role.  “I joined the company with extensive experience in leadership and various other fields. In the years before Versapay, I gradually moved into more specialized roles within operations. During this time, I developed a strong passion for process improvement and enhancing team efficiency, which ultimately guided me to my current position. When I found Versapay, I knew their mission, team, and culture were the perfect fit for me.” Q: What is one work skill that you think everyone should have?  “Adaptability. The ability to pivot and adjust when challenges arise is crucial in today’s fast-paced environment. It not only helps you thrive in uncertain situations but also allows you to be open to new learning opportunities and innovations.”    Q: If you had a whole day to do anything you wanted, what would you do?  “My ideal day would start with driving in Formula 1, racing early in the morning. After that, I’d head out for some flight hours, enjoying the skies. Once I land in my favorite island or city, I’d treat myself to a delicious meal along the coast, soaking in the beautiful views from the hills.” #lifeatversapay

Let’s get to know Tobias👇 Q: What does a typical workday look like for you?  “My typical day consists of a lot of prospecting for new clients and engaging them with Versapay's Accounts Receivable (AR) and payment processing solutions. I spend time researching leads, making cold calls, crafting personalized emails, and staying current with Versapay's latest product developments.”    Q: What motivates you to come to work every morning?  “Being in sales feels like game day every day. There are clear targets for finding, attracting, and closing new business, and I thrive in that competitive environment. What makes Versapay unique is how much they care about their employees, ensuring a refreshing and supportive atmosphere that makes coming to work enjoyable.”    Q: What do you do to relax outside of work?  “Outside of work, I run a high school girls’ basketball recruiting service, which keeps me busy. I also play in two adult basketball leagues during the week and enjoy disc golf and pickleball on the weekends.”    Q: If you could have dinner with any celebrity or historical person, dead or alive, who would it be? “For a celebrity, it would be LeBron James, my all-time favorite player. Historically, I’d love to sit down with Muhammad Ali, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, or Robert F. Smith (alive). These men have made an incredible impact, paving the way for people like me in America.”   #lifeatversapay

We all made it! How are you planning to mark the occasion?

Yesterday, our latest Town Hall Pop-Up took over Atlanta! Our local VEEPs and Golden Ticket winners got together at the office to catch up and work side by side. After a productive day, we headed to Ponce City Market for an evening of food, games, and good vibes! Thanks to everyone who made it a great day 🎉! #lifeatversapay
