In this week's #FeatureFriday, Troy shares insights into his role at Versapay and what drew him to join our team during the pandemic. Let’s get to know Troy👇 Q: What influenced your decision to join Versapay?  "I fell in love with the thought of working for Versapay during the pandemic season after quickly understanding its core values and what makes up our strong employee culture, juxtaposing a strong obsession for our customers and an environment that I believed could support my passion for automation in financial matters. As someone who worked in the commercial banking sector but was new to payments, I started learning more about Versapay's mission in the world of payment processing through how we aim to transform accounts receivable processes for B2B market companies and how I fit into this expansive vision. I was attracted to our high-performance work culture and quickly learned that by continuing to define and redefine the scope of our customer's key pain points, we can demystify technical issues within software and payments that affect our customers to help move their payments faster." Q: Tell us a bit more about what you do every day at work.  "On a day-to-day basis, my role as a Research Specialist on the Payment Resolutions Team is to help manage the overall processing relationships between our customers and partners. Under the banner of Customer Care, we intervene when payment issues arise for customers that cause financial delays in processing. We rely on emails, reports, and access to different platforms for reporting and payment information from gateways. How we handle such payment issues greatly shapes our customer's experiences."    Q: What's the biggest misconception people have about your position?   "A common misconception about my role is that we handle IT-related issues when we focus on resolving payments and funding issues. Our team ensures that transactions move quickly and securely through our integrated systems, supporting our clients' payment processes and maintaining strong relationships with external partners."     Q: What's your favorite book/movie?   "My favorite movie is a tie between Inception and Lean On Me. Although those movies are very different, they tell interesting storylines about everyday life that are very valuable. My favorite book is "Think and Grow Rich" because it focuses on how to turn ideas into reality."    #lifeatversapay
