PILOT COATER NEWS UPDATE - Pilot coater line installation progresses. Verico engineering and maintenance staff are making great progress installing the new pilot coater line. Room prep, including a fresh floor coating, is complete and the first parts of the coater are being moved into place for assembly. Next will be the oven module, final assembly, and installation of oven duct work and electrical service. Once complete Verico engineering staff will begin a series of startup and checkout runs on the equipment before beginning customer work. Stay tuned for these milestones in the coming weeks!

Verico Technology is excited to be exhibiting for the third consecutive year at the Hydrogen Technology Expo North America in Houston, June 26-27, at NRG Center. This event is co-located with the Carbon Capture Technology Expo. Verico’s precision roll-to-roll coating services provide developers and manufacturers a fast track to market as these important technologies continue to grow. Verico’s recent addition of pilot scale coating adds a key capability to our services, bridging the work between lab and production scale coating. Visit Verico at booth 658 to learn more about our precision coating services and our new pilot scale capability for process development and prototyping membrane materials, interface layers, adhesives and other materials for hydrogen generation, fuel cells and carbon capture applications.

Verico Technology has taken delivery of our E R (Dixon) pilot coater! All the components have been staged in our Enfield, CT facility and the installation process is beginning with site and utilities work. Once installed and qualified the unit will be available for customer projects (estimated September) and provide a wide range of coating capability with slot die, gravure and roll coating modules followed by oven drying and optional lamination. Substrates such as films, foils and non-wovens, up to 13 inch width, can be used on the coater. Additional capabilities can be added with the flexible E R design.  Contact Verico to schedule your lab, pilot or production scale project and learn more about our capabilities at https://lnkd.in/gHGghe3g

******IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT****** Verico Technology is excited to announce the addition of a pilot coating line to our capabilities. With this addition Verico will be able to provide complete coating services from lab to pilot and high volume roll to roll manufacturing. The E R (Dixon) unit is being removed from its current location and will be transported to Verico’s site in Connecticut in the next few weeks. Initial startup is expected in August followed by customer work in September.     Pilot capabilities include slot die, gravure and three roll coating techniques on a wide variety of substrates up to 13 inches wide, oven drying and lamination. The modular E R design allows for high flexibility. Verico engineers are already planning additional web paths, lamination locations, corona treatment, UV curing and more features.     Check back in the coming weeks for updates on delivery, installation and startup of our latest tool.  More info at:     Pilot Line - Verico Technology (vericocontractcoating.com)
