Organizational Tips for Travelers There’s nothing more exciting than signing a new travel contract – but don’t forget there are still compliance steps to complete before you are cleared to start. Compliance can be overwhelming at first, especially when coupled with finding housing and packing up your things, but I’ve come up with some great tips that can help you stay organized! Create a checklist: Start by listing out everything you need to complete, from vaccination requirements to final paperwork items to a packing list. This keeps you aware of your progress and ensures no steps are overlooked. Break it down by sections: It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by everything on your plate. Break your checklist into sections, like licensing, references, housing, travel plans, and onboarding, so you can focus on one step at a time. Set Reminders: Use your phone’s calendar or reminder apps to stay on track with important deadlines. Alerts can help you remember tasks, like submitting paperwork or confirming travel arrangements, especially when life gets busy. Keep a binder for physical copies: While digital is convenient, having physical copies of your license, certifications, contract, and other key documents on hand is invaluable. A binder can be your go-to source for documents, just remember to keep it in a safe place you won’t forget! Being organized means you can focus more on the adventure ahead and less on the logistics. I’m happy to help you stay on track and chat about all things travel, just give me a call or send me a text! 402-252-5773 @ Ventura MedStaff
