Amir’s Travel Blog Chapter 4: The First Night at the Community Amir Beno here! For those who missed the previous chapters, we're so committed to resident-centric software at Venn that my family and I are living in a multifamily community to experience life as residents. The Beno Family’s First Night: ✅ Free WiFi is available for Guest Suite visitors ✅ My daughters, Melody and Rona slept fine on the couch (plenty of mattresses, blankets, and pillows for everyone). Rona fell off only once – great success! ✅ Starbucks is 2 minutes away from the complex. All ingredients for a great day ahead. 💡 As a short-term guest, I would happily pay extra for a "basic groceries package" (fruits, cereals, snacks, etc.) ready upon arrival. At 8:00 a.m., I prepared for a meeting to present Venn’s Q3 Roadmap Planning. So, I started exploring the amenities to find a suitable meeting spot. Exploring Amenities: In the Lobby and Arts Room, I met Toby, a resident studying architecture, who often uses the room and its printer. The Mail Room and Conference Room were perfect for my meeting. 💡 A QR code on the door for information, reservations, or emergency instructions would be helpful. Stay tuned for the next chapter – exploring the rest of the amenities! 🧡 Amir

Amir’s Travel Blog Chapter 3: Arriving at the Community Hi, I'm Amir Beno the VP of Product at Venn. We're so committed to resident-centric software that my family and I are living in a multifamily community to experience life as residents. Let's dive into the next chapter of our journey! The Benos are finally in DC! Following clear instructions from the Community Manager, we arrived at our community. Excitement was high as we approached our new temporary home. The entrance was equipped with ButterflyMX, but without a PIN code, I had to rely on the concierge. After a short wait, a resident kindly let us in. Inside, we headed to the Leasing Office. Despite the busy atmosphere, the Leasing Consultant handed us our keys – one fob for all common areas and another for the unit. Managing with just one set of keys for four people would be interesting! 💡Managing physical keys can be challenging for all parties. From changing locks to setting up key fobs, even hotels often need to print guests new keycards. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could unlock all doors with your phone? It's a good thing we’ve built access control directly into the Venn app! Upon entering our unit, I was relieved to find towels, shampoo, and other essentials ready. Expectations exceeded! Until next time, follow along as we dive into the amenities and discover new opportunities! 🧡 Amir

Fun fact: Over 20% of multifamily companies juggle over 31 tools! That's 31 logins for an on-site manager — mind-blowing, right? 🤯 So, how do you leverage the data from all those tools to help make decisions? I had the pleasure of hosting Tess R. Suchoff, VP of Strategic Initiatives at Venn , on my latest podcast episode of Tiff Talks Tech, where we dove into the fascinating world of data-driven decision-making in multifamily. Tess shared incredible insights on how we can empower teams to leverage these tools effectively, even if they’re "technical enough to be dangerous but not technical enough to be helpful," like us. 💡 Check out the full episode, which is a deeper dive into how data and technology are reshaping the multifamily landscape. 🔗 Apple Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/gD5Etebk 🔗 Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gTWFmF-m #Multifamily #DataDriven #TechInRealEstate #Podcast #TechStack #Marketing #Leadership #DataAnalytics #TiffTalksTech

Amir’s Travel Blog Chapter 2: Airport Turbulence and Tech Lessons Hi, I'm Amir Beno the VP of Product at Venn. We're so committed to resident-centric software that my family and I are living in a multifamily community to experience life as residents. Let's dive into the next chapter of our journey! Airport Adventures: Traveling on the day of the CrowdStrike outage was an unexpected challenge. From non-functional cashiers to blue screens at the Delta terminal, we faced one hurdle after another. 💡This outage impacted millions and taught us a crucial lesson: we must be extra cautious about "bugs" impacting residents’ homes. Long story short, all American flights were grounded for more than three hours. After a long flight, we landed at JFK and faced massive customs delays. We missed our connecting flight to DC, took a taxi to New York, booked a hotel for a few hours, and then took a train from NY to DC the next morning. Stay tuned for the next chapter – arriving at the community in DC 🚀 🧡 Amir

What does a resident-centric proptech company look like? One that sends their VP of Product across the Atlantic Ocean to live onsite at one of their partner’s communities. Hi, I'm Amir Beno the VP of Product at Venn. Welcome to my travel blog! My wife Liraz, our daughters Melody and Rona, and I traveled from Tel Aviv to Washington, D.C., to immerse ourselves in our customers' world. I'm taking over Venn’s LinkedIn page to share my experience living onsite at one of our customers' apartment communities. For two weeks, we lived like residents to see firsthand how Venn can enhance the lives of residents and onsite team members. We're committed to creating an outstanding resident experience, and there's no better way to achieve that than by diving right into community life! The Journey Begins My first time in a residential guest suite made me wonder: Is it like an Airbnb? Do we need to bring towels, toilet paper, or shampoo? There are so many unknowns! Stay tuned for chapter 2, a travel day of turbulence and unexpected adventures! 🧡 Amir

TL;DR our investors are more than just financial backers; they’re partners, friends and recognized leaders driving innovation across the industry! Dovi Frances, our lead investor, and his team at Group 11 just won two Preqin Awards and were named America’s Top Performing VC Fund Manager AND America’s Top Performing Venture (General) Fund Manager 🎉 It makes total sense. This group of investors sets high expectations, pushing themselves and their portfolio companies to innovate every day ⚡ We first met Dovi and Group 11 two years ago after redefining our value proposition and aiming to build a company that defines a category. Quickly, we saw how much our strategy and Dovi’s vision aligned and we clicked as business partners and as friends. They invested in our mission and helped us lay the groundwork for where our platform is today. Dovi and Group 11 team, we are thrilled to be part of your journey. When we dream big, big things happen. Excited to dream and build together 🚀 https://shorturl.at/Jx7O5

It doesn’t happen very often, but there are moments in life when you meet someone and see something that changes all of your plans. When I met Or Bokobza and he showed me Venn it stopped me in my tracks. I’ve never seen multifamily software so beautiful and intentionally designed to bring people together. The most innovative property management companies will use Venn to create a resident experience so good it will be painful to live anywhere else. They’ll see engagement signals months before renewal and take proactive actions to keep residents thrilled to be part of their community. They’ll monetize their communities in ways they never imagined using the psychology of choice in the exact moments they matter. They’ll speak on stages at AIM, NAA, and Optech about how they finally cracked the code to make residents as loyal to their brand as consumers are to hotels and airlines. I’m so excited to put my name and passion behind a product I truly believe in and join a team as lovely and kind as the one at Venn. Today, I start my journey as the Sr. Director of Marketing at Venn. Come find me at NAA, and I’ll tell you why I’m so obsessed with Venn. Thank you, Jessica Acosta-Rubio, Mariela Quintana, Roi Barak, George Roberts, Tess R. Suchoff, Mariya Dvoretskaya, Oz Ganon, Chen Avni for making me feel so welcome. And a very special shout out to Daniel Paulino for introducing me to Venn and advocating for me. P.S. No I did not take this job because their Tribeca office is .4 miles from Taylor Swift’s New York apartment. But it didn’t hurt.

Can we celebrate the partners who are NOT spamming your email inbox with #Apartmentalize emails? Who have you successfully made plans with or scheduled a meeting with, without that supplier/product/service having to spam you? What made you want to meet with them, over all the others? I'd love to make a list of who you've seen doing this in a really thoughtful way, so we can learn and hopefully educate others from these great examples. I'm taking a meeting with the team from Venn because they've had really thoughtful and personable reach-outs (not 100 emails asking for my time). They remembered me from another casual get-together and have stayed in touch. Their team feels more like a friend than someone trying to sell to me - it's definitely genuine, which makes me want to give their team my time. Who's doing it right? Ready... ➡ GO!

Calling all National Apartment Association (Naahq) #Apartmentalize attendees! Who wants to join us for an energizing early morning city walk in Philly on Wednesday, June 19th?! 🌆 Did you know that according to Dr. Robert Waldinger's work on the world's longest scientific study of happiness, connection not only matters, but your health and happiness depends on the relationships you create! This is exactly why Leslie Jackson and I decided to curate a community of like-minded individuals seeking connection through health-focused events! I'm excited to team up with Jessica Acosta-Rubio once again for this special early morning outing. Conferences of this size can be intimidating when seeking new relationships or for those looking to protect their social battery.
