On Sunday night I had the immense honor of moderating a brilliant conversation on the "future of fashion" and how that future can only exist if we address the oversized impact the fashion industry has on carbon dioxide and methane emissions, pesticide, PFAS, microplastic and landfill burdens, clearcutting, excessive shipping and much more. But we didn't need to linger long, because we assumed that most attendees understand the ugly side of design, so instead we shared our collective excitement about the opportunity to make this industry much more beautiful. Adornment should make us all feel adorable! Thank you to our mindblowing Near Future experts: Marci Zaroff – Founder & CEO of ECOfashion Corp Lewis Perkins – President of Apparel Impact Institute Garrett Gerson – Founder & CEO of VARIANT3D Liam Berryman – Co-founder & CEO of Nelumbo Barndiva & Studio Barndiva strikes the perfect balance of aspiration, natural elegance, gracious service, and pure delight. Thank you jil hales Dawnelise Regnery Rosen and the phenomenal Conversations Worth Having team. #ecofashion #sustainable #cradletocradle #circular grateful Orrick Tech is as passionate as we are about investing in a more sustainable future!
