This week, UW Credit Union co-hosted a two-day financial education summit in collaboration with The Forward Learning Institute of Financial and Economic Literacy (FLIFEL) – a partnership between UWCU, Edgewood College, the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and the CBM Credit Education Foundation. About 75 Wisconsin educators and community partners gathered for the event, which included training from the Department of Public Instruction and connected educators to free state resources to support them and their students. Yesterday, UW Credit Union had the honor of hosting Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and other community members for a tour of our new corporate headquarters in Madison’s west side. The facility, developed in partnership with Findorff and KEE Architecture prioritizes sustainability with features like geothermal heating, more than 500 solar panels, EV charging stations and more. In his opening remarks, UWCU President and CEO Paul Kundert explained this building, and overall campus, signifies our continued commitment to Madison and supports our organization’s growth for years to come.
