Starting your nursing career in a supportive environment can make all the difference. At UT Health East Texas, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture where personal and professional growth are prioritized. Megan, nurse extern, shares her thoughts on the culture she’s experienced since joining. "Management on our floor is always available when needed, either in person or in the office, always there to answer questions or help." Megan also finds support from her coworkers. "I have made incredible friendships with nurses here since starting last December. Some of us regularly go out to eat outside of work together as well." When you join UT Health, you’re not just joining a team — you’re joining a community that feels like home. We invite you to explore what it's like to be part of our family. Join our team as a graduate nurse! Apply at https://lnkd.in/ghKrcuYK.

October is Healthy Lung Month and UT Health East Texas recently celebrated a meaningful milestone of 500 patient lives impacted by the ION endoluminal system, which makes it easier for patients to know with certainty whether a suspicious lung nodule or lung mass is benign or cancerous. Lung biopsies performed with the ION are less invasive and more precise. Congratulations UT Health East Texas Pulmonary Institute Team!
