Guckenheimer has signed the U.S. Food Waste Pact! Through the pact, ReFED and the World Wildlife Fund have partnered with organizations across the country to achieve a 50% reduction in food waste by 2030. The U.S. Food Waste Pact provides critical support to help Guckenheimer accelerate progress toward our waste reduction targets and reduce food loss throughout the supply chain. In addition to our working groups, U.S. Food Waste Pact signatories have the opportunity to attend regular Sector Summits. These gatherings give businesses a chance to have whole-sector conversations, identify sector-specific challenges, and collaborate on fighting #FoodWaste given those unique challenges. Did you know that the Pact builds on the successes of the Pacific Coast Food Waste Commitment? We’ve got the latest case study from the PCFWC on our website. It details an employee engagement intervention project with Land O'Lakes, Inc. that took place at one of their facilities in California. #ICYMI the Department of Agriculture announced the National Strategy for Reducing Food Loss and Waste and Recycling Organics, a first-of-its-kind plan in the United States. #Collaboration is present in each of the key objectives identified in this strategy, and we’re excited to contribute our own opportunities to collaborate and reduce #FoodWaste across the #FoodSupplyChain. https://loom.ly/0sDex2Y
