We represent and support Area Agencies on Aging and advocate for Title VI Native American Aging Programs.

About us

USAging is the national association representing and supporting the network of Area Agencies on Aging and advocating for the Title VI Native American Aging Programs. Our members help older adults and people with disabilities throughout the United States live with optimal health, well-being, independence and dignity in their homes and communities and support their caregivers. USAging and our members work to improve the quality of life and health of older adults and people with disabilities, including supporting people with chronic illness, people living with dementia, family caregivers and others who want to age well at home and in the community. Together, we are ensuring that all people can age well. Our members are the local leaders that develop, coordinate and deliver a wide range of home and community-based services to support people to age well, including information and referral/assistance, case management, home-delivered and congregate meals, in-home services, caregiver supports, transportation, evidence-based health and wellness programs, long-term care ombudsman programs and more. USAging is dedicated to supporting the success of our members through advancing public policy, sparking innovation, strengthening the capacity of its members, raising their visibility and working to drive excellence in the fields of aging and home and community-based services.

Hurricane Helene devastated communities from Florida to the mid-Atlantic. Our members and the older adults they serve have been hit hard, and many are still without essential supplies. Please help us support AAAs and Title VI programs as they assist older adults in their recovery. Your donation to USAging’s Disaster Relief Fund will provide food, gift cards, clothing and medical supplies to those in need. https://ow.ly/joau50TAksz

Last week, we wrapped up an incredible Leadership Institute! Over three intensive days in Alexandria, VA, 40 emerging leaders came together to dive deep into essential leadership skills. Through interactive sessions and hands-on learning, participants explored key topics to enhance their impact and foster well-rounded leadership. The Leadership Institute culminated in an inspiring graduation ceremony, where we celebrated their accomplishments and sent them off with a powerful charge: to lead the Aging Network in transforming the lives of older adults, people with disabilities and caregivers. We’re excited to see the difference they will make!
