Check out this Q&A with Alliance for American Manufacturing and our CEO, Joe Van Deman, for the backstory on how USA Brands came to be and what we're doing to ensure #apparel #manufacturing continues here in the #USA. Quality products, made here. #MadeInUSA #AmericanMade #Quality
Think you can't be an entrepreneur and keep it Made in America? Think again. Our Jeffrey Bonior chatted with Joe Van Deman of USA Brands about why he left a successful career at Google to move to the Midwest and champion small businesses that make their products in the United States. Van Deman got started by acquiring All American Clothing Co., and he eventually purchased three more #MadeinUSA brands: The Vermont Flannel Company, Vermont Teddy Bear Company, and Diamond Gusset. While USA Brands is becoming a conglomerate, Van Deman says his dedication to Made in America remains paramount. “Made in USA is what we stand for as a company. Really, that is why people are interested in joining us,” Van Deman said. “I think that’s why we had these different brands deciding to join us because making it here is very important to those company founders and those owners and the next generation of the company to make sure it is made here in the U.S.” Read the entire Q&A here: https://lnkd.in/dmmvdtWQ Photos courtesy USA Brands
