On this International Day of Commemorating the Victims of Acts of Violence based on religion or belief, we honor and remember all those who have been affected by acts of violence and implore you to commit to creating a world where peace, tolerance, and cohesion prevail. Ending religiously motivated violence is at the core of URI’s global efforts. • We all can contribute to peace, justice, and healing by choosing daily practices that bridge our differences, traditions, beliefs, and religions. Practices that promote daily interfaith cooperation, and collective healing and channel our efforts to ending religiously motivated violence. URI and cooperation circles around the world incorporate interfaith initiatives and over time, this has built trust across faiths, promoted collaborative actions for peace, and created inclusive spaces that help build a culture of mutual respect and cooperation. All this is essential for preventing religiously motivated violence. Learn more about the health approach to prevent violence: https://lnkd.in/d7hAhkej #WePreventViolence
