    *TUESDAY TIPS* Assignments! Have you been on a job search and been asked to complete a task, such as how you’d answer an email, handle a particular issue, draft a report, present a deck, etc? If so, consider yourself lucky! It means the employer is very interested in you and could potentially make an offer! This is the time to take the time and do it well. Be thoughtful. Don’t throw something together. And please, use spell check. You have the chance to show how great you are, so be great! And for employers, if you’re not having prospective employees do brief assignments during the vetting process, I highly suggest you do! Questions/thoughts? Reach out to me at [email protected].

So here’s my tip for today - ask for feedback. if you apply to a role and you don’t get it or they tell you that they’re going in a different direction politely ask what was it about my candidacy that didn’t work for the employer? Most people won’t offer feedback up unless specifically asked. It’ll help you work on the pieces that might be missing and get better at the interview process! Good luck!
