Another Bolton VMBA Day in the books! We were posted up at the base of the Vista lift Saturday handing out Upstate Elevator Supply Co. hemp-derived beverages and general good vibes. The weather was “Vermont perfect,” meaning it didn’t rain — much, anyway — and the sun even came out in time for some party laps. This is our second year partnering with Vermont Mountain Bike Association, doing our small part to ensure they have the resources they need to build and maintain trails throughout the state, including partnering with Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports to help expand adaptive-friendly trails, most recently at the Driving Range in Bolton. Huge shout out to VMBA, all the vendors, and especially each and every rider there for making an awesome day of downhill at Bolton Valley Resort!

Access to hemp and CBD is in jeopardy. The Farm Bill Amendment introduced by Representative Mary Miller could have a devastating effect on the hemp industry by suggesting a ban on all ingestible hemp products with any THC content, even those like non-intoxicating CBD products that naturally contain small amounts. The amendment proposes a new definition of hemp that incorporates THCA calculations. If approved, this would lead to a federal ban on 90-95% of our hemp products including full-spectrum gummies, capsules, and tinctures. Please join us in taking action!
