About us

United Way of Cass-Clay connects people to people, needs to resources, and experts to advocates to improve lives and advance the common good throughout Cass and Clay counties. OUR VISION is to inspire community-wide collaboration by providing the greatest return on investment in addressing the needs in our community. We serve local individuals who need support in creating better opportunities for themselves and their families. We empower those who make a commitment to LIVE UNITED by inviting them to give, advocate and volunteer for their community. Helping people is at the center of all we do. Everything we have ever done or ever will do will be centered on helping local individuals and families while addressing needs in our community. United Way’s work goes well beyond our historical role of funding strong non-profit partners. Today we are leveraging our investments, resources, volunteers, and corporate partnerships to deliver transformative, measurable results. United Way has undergone a dramatic shift in how we work to address needs in our community. From a historic community chest with a broad charitable mission, we have evolved into a critical community convener that mobilizes our partners, including businesses, community leaders, public officials, residents, and non-profit organizations. Dollars raised by United Way of Cass-Clay are strategically invested in 4 areas: • Reducing Hunger and Homelessness • Preparing Children to Succeed • Helping People Be Independent • Lifting People Out of Poverty Learn more: www.unitedwaycassclay.org www.facebook.com/unitedwayofcassclay www.twitter.com/UnitedWayFargo Contact our team: [email protected] 701.237.5050

Did you know that right here in our community, 80% of families with children 5 and under have both parents who are working? For these families, high quality child care isn't just a convenience - it's a necessity. Yet, many low-income working parents find themselves dedicating 40% or more of their income toward child care. High-quality early childhood care and education are crucial for the development of our youngest minds, laying the foundation for future success. It is important for us to work together to find solutions that make this care accessible and affordable for all families. Every child deserves the best start in life. Thank you, Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce (FMWF Chamber) for hosting a great event this morning to share and discuss about each of the generations and their preferences and expectations.
