We had a fantastic Geauga Day of Action on June 21 as our United Way Services of Geauga County staff and 30 volunteers worked to assemble and distribute 200 meal kits to community members who may be experiencing food insecurity. The meal kits included the ingredients and recipe card to make chicken kabobs with quinoa and brown rice for a family of four. Thank you to our volunteers, who joined us from several organizations, and to West Geauga Middle School for loaning us space for the day to assemble and distribute the meal kits.
