Old National Bank stepped up this week—two amazing teams from the bank volunteered their time! At GiveNKind, one group sorted through hundreds of items, preparing them for distribution to local nonprofits and ensuring they can continue to uplift their communities.   Our Calm Down Kit group had a blast decorating and filling boxes with sensory toys, all designed to support the well-being of Round Lake students. Thank you to these incredible volunteers for spreading kindness and making a lasting difference! 

Join us on October 24 to celebrate our 5th anniversary of 211 services for Lake County! The measurable impact of 211 will be presented, including data on community-specific needs and valuable results. We will share stories of how 211 has made a real difference for community members, employers, agencies, and local government. The program will feature a panel discussion with civic leaders talking in-depth about top community needs and how the service has improved and saved lives. We’d like to highlight a few more of our fantastic volunteer groups who recently supported Stuff the Bus! Volunteers from North Shore Gas packed over 170 backpacks, our friends from Jabil packed another 135, and Leaders United of Lake County (IL) members packed 125 backpacks. These backpacks have already found homes throughout Lake County, in the hands of the students who need them. Thanks to your unwavering support and commitment, more of our Lake County youth are equipped with the supplies needed to succeed in school!

Shout out to our latest volunteers from the Clara Abbott Foundation, who packed 120 backpacks; our wonderful student group from College of Lake County ETS packed another 150, and our new friends from Nosco packed 135 backpacks! These backpacks have already found homes throughout Lake County in the hands of the students who need them.  Thanks to your unyielding support and commitment, more of our Lake County youth are equipped with the supplies needed to succeed in school!

Shout out to the fantastic volunteers who recently supported Stuff the Bus! Volunteers from Consumers Credit Union packed 144 backpacks, and a group from Assured Healthcare Staffing packed another 120 backpacks! Thanks to your unwavering support and commitment, our Lake County youth will be equipped for school and ready to learn.

Thank you to the incredible team from Trustmark for coming together to create 144 Punny Snack Packs! Each pack is decorated with love and filled with kid-favored snacks and a joke or riddle to tickle those funny bones. These snacks will be shared with the youth of Lake County, making their summers a little sunnier and fun. Thank you, Trustmark, for your fantastic contribution!

And our fantastic group from Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) packed another 120 backpacks! A huge thank you to our new friends from NEMERA for their incredible sponsorship and installation of a beautiful new extension to Clark School’s Early Learning Trail!   The new elements are stunning and thoughtfully designed to inspire our young learners to jump, dance and play.  We can’t wait to see all the smiles and laughter this new addition will bring.
