Today I was invited to share some inspirational thoughs with the graduating class of United Against Poverty's STEP class. What an amazing community resource building emotional intelligence and job readiness!!!! I have been afforded so many opportunities to be a part of wonderful community partners, here in St. Lucie County through my position with Coke Florida . I don't share my story publicly very often and my overall message I shared was build your community and support system (its ok to be picky), you are worthy capable and enough (say it in the mirror daily to yourself), you're never too old to start over or shift careers, and celebrate every win no matter how small. Sometimes its as simple as just getting out of bed or taking a shower that day. It's progress not perfection!
