Bart Peach serves as General Counsel at Unio Health Partners, bringing almost 20 years of experience in the healthcare services industry. Bart brings deep experience in contracting and contract management, structuring acquisitions, litigation and dispute management, compliance program development and implementation, as well as general legal department leadership and management in complex organizations. Prior to joining Unio in February 2024, Bart served as legal counsel for several other organizations including DaVita, Veyo, and Epiphany Dermatology after spending his primary years solving regulatory and transactional issues in healthcare-focused law firms. Clayton Lawrence has joined Unio as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Unio, Clayton spent 9 years with Sound Physicians, one of the nation’s leading hospital-based, multi-specialty provider groups. Most recently he served as Regional President of Operations, a role which spanned 12 states and supported more than 1,200 clinicians. During his tenure with the medical group, Clayton was integral in the development and execution of Value-Based Care contracting and service initiatives, along with ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness and leading financial outcomes. Brandi Scelsi has joined Unio as the Vice President of Ancillary Services, leveraging 20 years of experience in healthcare, technology, and finance. With a background that includes roles at Ford Credit, First Data Corporation/Western Union, and Banner Healthcare/MD Anderson, Brandi brings a unique blend of clinical expertise as a registered nurse and high-level business skills. She will oversee various ancillary teams and services, including IOD, CCM, Lab, Office Catheter program, Ultrasound services, and Anesthesia. She lives in Arizona with her husband and four children, and she enjoys spending time with her family, church community, running, skiing, reading, and volunteering. We are pleased to welcome recent additions to the Unio management team! Tom Treinen assumed the role of Vice President, Operations. His immediate priorities are to work with the Unio team to address operational infrastructure, allocation of scheduling resources as well as strategic real estate initiatives and further developing accountability at the office manager level. As leader of the GI division, he is tasked with creating effective communication channels with our providers and staff members and efficiently implementing improvements to our operating model. Mohan Holmberg joined Unio as VP, Strategic Analysis and Operational Finance, bringing over 12 years of financial leadership experience. He'll be working closely with our team and physicians to drive financial and operational excellence. Mohan's expertise includes data analytics and providing strategic insights. Welcome to the Unio family, Mohan! Amanda Wells recently joined Unio as Director of RCM, GI Division. Amanda brings 15 years of Revenue Cycle Management and leadership experience. Her expertise includes driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams. Most recently, Amanda held the position of Director of Medical Billing at Pacific Dental Services, operationalizing medical-dental integration. Prior to that, she was the Director of RCM for Comprehensive EyeCare Partners, one of the largest vision care management services organizations in the US. Rick Glover, Unio's new Director of Provider Relations, brings over 15 years of healthcare sales leadership experience. Formerly with companies like Florida Cancer Specialists, IBA Proton Therapy, Exact Sciences, and Philips Healthcare, Rick excels in driving revenue growth and forming strategic partnerships. His role at Unio involves full-cycle talent acquisition for gastroenterology, urology, and radiation oncology, including sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing qualified candidates. Specialty Networks hosted the Unio Health Partners Summit last week in Torrance, California. Lead by 24 faculty members and attended by 150 clinicians and executive leaders in Urology and Gastroenterology, this event brought Unio Health Partners physicians, administrators, and other providers together for a day and a half of education, business development, and team building.   Dr. Edward Cohen, President of Unio Health Partners, kicked off the general sessions with welcome remarks, followed by presentations on Value-Based Care (the Unio Approach and the SoNaR Approach), Technology Advancing the Field of Genetics, “What’s New” in Prostate Cancer and Gastroenterology Genetics, and more.
