#MeetUCT » We are thrilled to introduce our new Vice President of Sales, Laxman (Lucky) Murugesh! Lucky brings 30 years of #semiconductor industry expertise, from engineering to executive leadership at companies like Applied Materials, Veeco, and Intel. He holds a doctorate in materials science and engineering from UC Berkeley and has been involved in groundbreaking research for the U.S. Air Force. Lucky's journey from the coastal town of Visakhapatnam, India to the U.S. with $1,000 in his pocket, to leading sales for a top semiconductor company is truly inspiring. His passion for teamwork and continuous learning is infectious. He says, "I am always humbled by how much we can achieve when we work together on common goals." All the while, he proclaims that his most important achievements are his 30-year marriage and two children. Lucky is already making waves at UCT, building relationships and fostering collaboration. We're thrilled to have his expertise, #leadership, and photography skills on the team. Welcome aboard, Lucky!

#MeetUCT » Meet Ozben K., a talented process engineer making waves at our Cavan, Ireland facility! From the Aegean shores of her native Turkey to the rolling fields of Ireland, Ozben's journey has led her to UCT, where she's been instrumental in ensuring smooth #manufacturing operations since joining us a year ago. Her degrees in mechanical and energy #engineering — and experience spanning computational fluid dynamics, mechanical design, R&D, and process optimization using Business Knowledge Models (BKM) — gives her a unique perspective when tackling process-related challenges. She thrives in our supportive work environment, where she can relish in her passion for problem-solving and seamless team collaboration. "My team functions like a finely-tuned machine, with each member representing a crucial “gear” to transmit force and achieve the desired outcome,” she shares. Outside of work, you'll find Ozben exploring Ireland's breathtaking landscapes, capturing its beauty through photography, and constantly expanding her knowledge in various fields.
