U.S. Citizenship required The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is the nation’s only permanent nuclear waste repository for defense-generated transuranic (TRU) waste generated from Department of Energy (DOE) sites across the country. Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds. Duties: Responsible for the award and subcontract administration of goods, inventory, equipment, system upgrades and/or services required to support the WIPP site. Must ensure compliance with the prime contract, Department of Energy (DOE) Acquisition regulations, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and maintain good business practices for the organization. Will need to be capable making critical decisions, weighting all risk factors against site requirements and schedule needs, and seeking necessary approvals to ensure exceptional acquisition performance. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical field or alternatively an Associates' Degree in Technical field with an additional 2 (or more) years of applicable work experience beyond that specified for required minimum work experience. Experience/Skills: • Candidate must demonstrate 10 or more years’ experience in STR/CAM related position, including minimum of 3 years’ experience online-item construction projects with a total project cost > $50M.
