Gavin Floyd, our youngest T14 star, takes on the Battle at the Brickyard @IndianapolisMotorSpeedway! A record 500 cars showed up to race at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Despite a large crowd, Gavin Floyd held his own during the quarter midget races. Floyd’s car, Shockwave, was in P3 for the entire Senior Honda category before being spun by another competitor on the last lap. For the Senior Animal category, Gavin Floyd took his other car, Devastator, to go head-to-head with some of the fiercest competitors he has ever faced. After being involved in a crash three laps in, Floyd valiantly held Devastator together with four bent suspension components for an additional 24 laps before he spun out and moved to the pit. Regardless of the outcome at Indy, Gavin Floyd returned to his home track—Oaklane Quarter Midget Speedway—where he claimed P3 and enjoyed a celebration on the podium.
