    🚨 Maryland Employers - Today Is the Day 🚨 📆 The new pay transparency law is in effect. Employers are now required to provide salary ranges on job postings. A quick checklist to make sure you are in compliance with the law: ✅ The law applies to all employers, regardless of size. 📍 The law applies to all jobs that will be physically performed at least partly inside the state, which means any job available to Maryland applicants must contact a salary range. 💵 The legislation calls for using an hourly pay or salary range based on an applicable pay scale, a previously determined minimum and maximum pay for the position, the pay of an individual holding a comparable position, or the budgeted amount for the position. ⚖️ Fines will be imposed by the state’s labor commissioner for non-compliance.
