Tripler Army Medical Center and Desmond T. Doss Health Clinic recently hosted the Michigan Air National Guard’s 110th and 127th Medical Groups to provide training opportunities. Because these units have no on-base hospitals, these learning opportunities are essential for providing real-world experience and guaranteeing a ready medical force. “We are perfecting our medical skills on real, live patients,” said Maj. Broc Nichelson, 110th Medical Group chief nurse. “Practicing these skills will increase competence and ultimately save lives.” Story and photo by Tech. Sgt. Valentina Viglianco Read more: https://lnkd.in/gZh9HN-F
