Thank you to over 200 riders and supporters that came together for our June public meetings – a fantastic turnout! These meetings were a great chance to learn how our community is using our transit services. Attendees also had the opportunity to speak directly with staff about potential future transportation options in their area. The valuable feedback shared will help us plan new service connections and enhance existing routes as we strive to continue providing the best possible service for everyone.

Catch up with Rich and Reed as they discuss their takeaways from the APTA Rail Conference. It's vital that we continue to communicate the positive impact rail has on communities. Here at Trinity Metro, for example, our services contribute a significant $700 million to the local economy. Rail goes beyond simply moving people. It provides vital access to jobs and talent, fostering a thriving and connected city. We were also inspired by the energy and innovative approaches other rail systems are taking to ensure the highest levels of safety and security for their passengers. This knowledge will be invaluable in implementing improvements here in Fort Worth. Thanks for stopping by and catching up!

Last Thursday, REC of GFW hosted an engaging discussion at the River Crest Country Club, focusing on the future of transit-oriented development in our region. Key moments included a keynote by Rich Andreski, President & CEO of Trinity Metro, insightful panel discussions with industry leaders like Larry Auth (Omni Fort Worth Hotel), Jeff Davis (Republic Title), Greg Jordan (Trinity Metro), and Jack Wierzenski (DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit)), and moderation by David Campbell, VP at Huitt-Zollars, Inc. We explored the success stories of TEXRail and discussed the community's perspectives on rail and transit developments. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our event sponsors, Schaefer Advertising Co. and Corsair Consulting, LLC! #TransitDevelopment #TOD #FortWorth #RealEstate #CommunityGrowth #RECofGFW

This recognition is a testament to their unwavering dedication to championing progress in public transportation for the residents of Tarrant County. Their leadership and vision have been instrumental in the success of countless transportation projects that are making a real difference in our community. Just a few months ago, we held a train-naming contest, Name That Train, to give an individual identity to each of our TEXRail trains. Since 2019, only one TEXRail train has had its own identity: Spike, which was the last of the eight trains to be delivered. We received an amazing response with more than 1,000 suggestions. Now every one of our TEXRail trains has a new name to complete the fleet. Thanks to the community for offering up a great variety of identities. Spike will keep his name, and now we’ve got Zippy, Miles, Ranger, Bluebonnet, Panther, Maverick and Vaquero. So, next time you hop on board, snap a pic, tag us, and enjoy your commute between downtown Fort Worth and the airport!

We're proud of our team members who advanced to participate in the American Public Transportation Association International Bus Roadeo this past week. Our maintenance team tied for first in the vapor door contest and then were only 46 seconds short of winning the tie-breaker. Overall, the team came in 16th place. We were well-represented with support from all levels within our agency. Congratulations to all participants!

Trinity Metro is excited to partner with Mayor Parker and stakeholders on the new Urban Rail Committee. We believe a fixed rail system connecting entertainment districts has the potential to boost ridership, economic development, and tourism. We look forward to collaborating to determine the best fixed rail solution for Fort Worth's growing population. Thanks to Fort Worth Report for this coverage. https://lnkd.in/guR_aXcg
