Welcome Neel Gopalakrishnan to this year’s Boston Marathon. #TeamTrinity! Neel, who will be joining Team Trinity from Australia, originally heard about TBC through his employer’s partnership Global Partners. TBC’s focus on social equality is what initially caught Neel’s eye and something that he identifies closely with. Growing up in India, Neel witnessed various forms of discrimination based on caste, religion, and wealth. Because of this, Neel chooses to support any initiatives that reduce discrimination and promote inclusiveness. He states, “Trinity Boston Connects’ focus on bringing inclusiveness to people of color is particularly noteworthy.” Neel has participated in several marathons but, this will be his first Boston Marathon. We look forward to cheering for him on April 15th! Welcome Jane Yau to this year’s Boston Marathon #TeamTrinity! Jane is an ultramarathoner who will be joining us from New York. She has always been a passionate supporter of education and youth empowerment. When researching charity partners, TBC’s mission resonated with her, and she knew immediately that she wanted to run on behalf of Team Trinity. Jane has a similar life mission, providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people. Jane says, “Running the 2024 Boston Marathon for Team Trinity Boston is not merely a physical endeavor, but also a gesture of solidarity with the organization’s mission to empower youth and build a better future for our community.” We are incredibly lucky to have Jane on Team Trinity! Jane recently completed the Tokyo Marathon and Boston will be her 6th major marathon.
