Sometimes I feel like Odysseus on his 20 year Odyssey, full of hardships and challenges, but all part of the hero’s journey. I try to be Stoic and take everything in stride. So, needless to say it’s extremely difficult to write this, but I feel the need to for my mental health. While Trident Coffee Roasters is growing and making a difference in our community, raising capital has been like fighting a giant cyclops (for those that get the Odyssey reference). We are distributed nationwide, have our third taproom opening in Pacific Beach next week, and have a new product line set to explode for DTC. In the last several months, I have spoken to more investors than I can count, and been ignored by just as many. If you or anyone you know is serious about investing, I would love to meet them. We are over half way through our raise and ready to wrap it up to get back to crafting America’s Finest Cold Brew.
