I am both humbled and excited to express my heartfelt gratitude as a proud member of the Incarcerated Children’s Advocacy Network (ICAN). Attending the Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth's 2024 National Convening was an inspiring experience that recharged our mission to end life without parole for children. The discussions on restorative justice and advocacy efforts in the Deep South were particularly impactful, especially the day of advocacy led by ICAN/CSFY at our nation's capital. It was a powerful reminder of our collective strength. Celebrating ICAN's 10-year anniversary with my ICAN family was truly special. The memories and laughter we shared reinforced the importance of our work and community. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this pivotal gathering. Let’s keep pushing for change and advocating for our youth! 💛

Hurt People Hurt People Healed People Heal People I want to thank everybody from the Transformational Prison Project for giving the people with prior convictions and who have been incarcerated a second chance on life. I’m grateful to be able to really help certain organizations put their message out there through custom apparel & signage.

The holidays are a joyous time of year, but also bring with them a lot of stress. Family, dietary changes, spending money, travel, and many other stressors can turn this celebratory time into one of anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and worse. Even the most privileged among us experience these seasonal ups and downs, even in the best of times. Now imagine experiencing all of that stress for the first time, months, weeks, or even days after spending decades in prison. Imagine experiencing all of that stress for the first time after the loss of a loved one to community violence. Imagine experiencing all of that stress while a parent or a child sits hundreds of miles away behind bars. Hundreds of thousands of people are dealing with those realities this holiday season without access to adequate and culturally competent mental health care, and we all suffer for it. At TPP, we are doing our part to reduce the barriers to healing so that people on the inside and out can have access to no-cost mental health care all year round. Please support us in that cause. Every dollar you donate will go to a neighbor, a mother, a child, in need of healing.
