Gestern fand unsere Veranstaltung 𝐊𝐈 𝐢𝐦 𝐔𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧 ausgerichtet von der dfv Mediengruppe (Deutscher Fachverlag GmbH), KNPZ Rechtsanwälte und YPOG, mit einer Vielzahl spannender Themen statt: 💡 Dr. Christoph Cordes hat sich den Fragen des Geistigen Eigentums bei der Nutzung von KI gewidmet. 💡 Dr. Inka Knappertsbusch, LL.M. hat arbeitsrechtliche Fragen bei der Integration von KI im Unternehmen beleuchtet. 💡 Dr. Jan-Michael Grages und Laurenz Strassemeyer haben einen Überblick über die datenschutzrechtlichen Problemkreise, inbesonderem beim KI as a Service, geliefert. 💡 Jens Ambrock hat die Perspektive der Datenschutzaufsichtsbehörden vorgestellt und die Überlagerung von DSGVO und der neuen KI-Verordnung erläutert. 💡Lars Querndt stellte uns vor, welche KI-Use Cases der moderne Journalismus ermöglicht und welche rechtlichen Hürden hierfür zu überwinden sind. 💡Anna Eickmeier und ich gaben einen Überblick über die neue KI-Verordnung 💡Anna Spitznagel präsentierte uns trail, ein Tool zur Automatisierung von AI Governance. Im Anschluss an die Keynote von Dr. Amit Datta zu den rechtlichen Hürden eines GPAI-Anbieters, haben wir uns insbesondere der Frage gewidmet ob die KI Verordnung vertrauenswürdige KI "made in Europe" ermöglichen wird. 💬 Great discussions on the topic of fostering AI innovation in light of rising regulation! ⚖️ The EU AI Act has passed its final vote end of May and the final text is soon to be published in the official journal. This marks the start of the countdown until it is legally binding in all European member states and I see quickly rising attention on the topic by corporates, public institutions, startups and investors. 🇪🇺 It is more important than ever to make sure Europe stays competitive and manages to bring its great research into application. We need to enable this application by ensuring regulatory requirements can be fulfilled without slowing us down or in the worst case resulting in losing technology and talent due to overly bureaucratic and manual processes. Therefore it was great discussing the role ecosystems and communities can play for a collaborative approach to European AI with Janina from IPAI in Bern at startup days. Followed by a very insightful panel on the role of AI startups in revolutionizing the legal tech space by Legal Tech Colab and YPOG at the Munich Urban Colab. Applying AI to the legal space is crucial to unlock efficiency gains and counter the increasing shortage of legal professionals. But selling to the legal sector can be difficult and regulatory pressure on AI rises - which is why we need innovative solutions (like trail 😉) to speed up time to market of AI startups!  Thank you for the great moderation Boris and fun discussion Hariolf, Stefan Reinhard and Benedikt. Lastly, as a true Münchner Kindl it was my great pleasure to shed light on the regulatory perspective at the Landeshauptstadt München City Council Hearing on AI. Really cool to see what the IT department of the city is working on by applying AI to the administration to turn our slow German bureaucracy into AI-supercharged processes for a digital city future.  Thank you for the lovely moderation Totinia and progressive thoughts Stefanie, Rebekka und Tristan Post. 🚀 Noch ein Recap zur LEGAL REVOLUTION?🌟 Tipp: Mit dem Recap warten bis die offiziellen Bilder raus sind 📸 . Die Legal Revolution war eine tolle Möglichkeit unseren Mitgliedern eine Bühne zu bieten. Und die meisten haben sie auch genutzt. Egal ob am Stand, beim 2 Minuten Pitch oder beim Panel, alle haben ihr Bestes gegeben. Auch ich durfte ein Panel zum Thema „Legal Tech Careers“ mit Milena Mühlenkamp, Sebastian Schüßler, Daniella Domokos, Alkan Dogan und Nina-Marie Luckhaupt (geb. Hackbarth) moderieren. Ich habe wieder einmal gelernt, wie viele spannende Karrierewege es im Bereich Legal Tech mittlerweile gibt. Besonders interessant war auch das Panel meines Kollegen Alexander Laprell, in dem unsere Startups vertreten durch Anna Spitznagel, Nico Wägerle und Viktor von Essen über die Zusammenarbeit mit Unternehmen gesprochen haben. 🚀 Zwischenfazit: KI-Governance und Compliance sollte bei der Zusammenarbeit von Anfang an mitgedacht und auch das gesamte Team mitgenommen werden. Ein Thema war allgegenwärtig: Künstliche Intelligenz. Buzzword hin oder her, ich finde es wichtig und gut zu sehen, dass sich fast jeder im Rechtsmarkt mehr oder weniger intensiv damit auseinandersetzt. Es war wirklich schön, bekannte und neue Gesichter aus der Legal Tech Community zu sehen und spannende neue Kontakte zu knüpfen.
