🌟 Celebrating Excellence at TPC Sugarloaf! 🌟 We are thrilled to recognize our North Star recipient, Julie, for going above and beyond during the Duluth Business Association meeting on Tuesday, July 9th. The president of the DBA was planning to get a door prize for the event from our Golf Pro Shop, which she didn’t know was closed for summer aerification. Julie quickly collaborated with our leadership team to find a solution, and we were able to offer a beautiful bottle of wine for the raffle. The association was truly impressed with Julie’s creativity and prompt response in finding a solution. Julie’s hospitality heart shined brightly in this moment, earning her praise from the entire group. We are proud to announce Hector as our Employee of the Month for June! 🎊🎉 Since joining The Loaf in March 2007, Hector has been an indispensable part of our Golf Course Maintenance team. His commitment to success and teamwork is clear, as he arrives 45 minutes early every day to set up equipment and ensure a smooth start for the entire agronomy team. Recently, Hector demonstrated his dedication by coming in on an unscheduled day to repair a mainline irrigation break, working a 10-hour shift to ensure everything was fixed properly. Our club wouldn’t be the same without employees like Hector. We thank him for his incredible work ethic and commitment to excellence every day. 🙌💪🚜 #TeamTPCSugarloaf #EmployeeOfTheMonth #Dedication

This year's Mason's Twenty-Fore Straight was another hole-in-one, as the community came together for a 24-hour golf marathon to raise critical funds for families facing brain cancer. Hosted annually by TPC Sugarloaf's team, this event honors Mason, who passed away from a pediatric brain tumor and had a love for sports and the outdoors. We are extremely grateful for the unwavering dedication and support of every golfer, family, and fundraiser who made the event a success. From goodie bags filled with glow-in-the-dark golf balls to midnight treats from Waffle House and the Kona Ice truck, every moment was filled with togetherness and joy. We also want to give a special shoutout to Mason's family for creating this meaningful event and to Aden's family, who fundraise and participate each year in memory of their son Aden, who also passed away from a brain tumor. Thanks to the funds raised during this event, we can continue to drive research toward a future free of pediatric brain tumors.

Meet Mason Horsewood, TPC Sugarloaf’s April employee of the month! 🎉 Mason was instrumental in the success of our golf course preparations for the Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure. His thorough approach to applying turf treatments ensured playing conditions were top-notch throughout tournament week. He also led daily course setup for the front-nine greens and earned high praise from PGA Tour Champions rules officials for his precise hole cutting.
