In 2023, Colorado reported a startling statistic: more than one in four individuals disclosed experiences of poor mental health, marking the highest level observed in the state, post-pandemic. May is #MaternalMentalHealthMonth, and it's important to share that these stats underscore the co-occurring tendency for those struggling with mental health to use substances to cope. For mothers, the load of parenting can make things worst. For mother's in recovery, Tough as a Mother offers the necessary resources and support for navigating the complexities of mental health and recovery.
