National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15. In celebration, the MOSAIC ERG asked Hispanic employees to share traditions related to their heritage. This week, we have Manny Renteria, Sr. Construction Care Representative, Scottsdale, AZ. “Even though I was born in the great state of Arizona, I grew up with my parents in Durango, Mexico, from the age of one until I returned to the United States at about 15. During that time, it was amazing to grow up in the environment my parents did, and I am grateful for that because I got to learn so much about Hispanic culture. I spoke Spanish as my first language for many years, and thanks to that, I am now fluent in both Spanish and English. I’m super proud of my Hispanic Heritage, and I always get excited to teach my friends and colleagues about the great things our culture has to offer (especially regarding food 😉). My parents have always been hard-working people and taught me to be the same. They have taught me to always strive to be better in both my personal and professional life and to always be nice and help other people because there are opportunities for everyone. Life has not always been easy for me, and I know it hasn’t for many people, but I am a big believer in “when one door closes, a bigger one opens” and never giving up on my goals and dreams, and that mentality has taken me to where I am today.” #EmployeeSpotlight #HispanicHeritageMonth #IWorkForToll

This week, we are featuring Jose Antonio Ramirez, Assistant Construction Manager from the CA-South division, who has been with Toll Brothers for seven years. “I started my career in construction as a laborer working alongside my dad. Doing so allowed me to work with a Construction Manager and see firsthand how impactful his day-to-day was. The Construction Manager wasn't just building houses. He was building homes for people to start families and create memories. My dad always believed that I could reach that goal. Whenever I would ask him what it would take to get there someday, he would always tell me that it would be a lot of hard work and dedication but that I could achieve it if I set my mind to it. My biggest motivation has been showing my dad that his belief in me propelled me toward achieving my goals. It excites me to come to work every day, knowing that I'll be able to see and show others what my team and I accomplished in every community we were part of. It is rewarding to know that what once was an empty lot is now a community people can call home. Working at Toll Brothers has been a life-changing experience. Opportunities have been presented, and I feel rewarded for my hard work. I take pride in what I do and take every experience at Toll Brothers as an opportunity to learn and further develop my skills in the field. What makes Toll Brothers a great place to work is, without a doubt, our employees. To acknowledge those who have contributed so much to our success, we give eligible employees a company-paid trip (and vacation time) when they reach their 10, 20, 30, and 40-year anniversary. Tina Pasquali , Bookkeeper in Accounting, recently celebrated her 10-year milestone trip with her family to Cape Coral, Florida. “My family and I went to Cape Coral, Florida, with friends, and we all had an amazing time. We did a lot in the week, including learning how Wicked Rum was made, visiting a couple of different beaches, and going on a fan boat where we saw alligators. We even saw some alligators while playing miniature golf and got to feed them. Our favorite memory was going on a sunset cruise and seeing dolphins swimming. My favorite thing about working for Toll Brothers is all the amazing people I work with and the perks we get. This week, we’ve been spotlighting our ERGs to showcase the vital role they play in fostering an inclusive culture at Toll Brothers. Today, we’re excited to feature The Toll PRIDE (People Respecting Individuality & Diversity of Everyone) Network, which is dedicated to creating a supportive environment for our LGBTQ employees. Each June, PRIDE supports Pride Month by facilitating Pride marches across the company, and this year saw our highest participation ever! They also foster connections among members through “Coffee Chats,” where members are paired randomly with each other to build relationships and expand their networks. A big thank you to all our ERGs for their unwavering commitment to nurturing a culture of inclusion. VERG is dedicated to providing mentorship and support to veterans, service members, their families, and friends. Their mission includes sharing experiences, assisting with military transitions, and supporting those balancing National Guard and reserve duties. VERG supports our veterans through quarterly meetings, featuring them on our company intranet, and hosting RED (Remember Everyone Deployed) Shirt Fridays. Their community impact is also significant, with volunteer efforts that include renovating spaces for veterans. This week, we are featuring Heather Caserta, Sales Consultant in our FL-Tampa division, who has been with Toll Brothers for five years. “I spent my childhood growing up and moving around the world a lot as an Army brat, and I always enjoyed searching for new homes. Although I initially worked in general real estate, I was drawn to new construction. When I met the team at Toll Brothers during a couple of realtor events, I knew I had to apply when an opening became available. I enjoy working with our team and the collaborative effort it takes to build not just homes but communities. It’s about the community of people we work with and the communities for our home buyers.”

Today, we’re featuring Priscilla Bowers, a Design Consultant for our South Carolina—Upstate division. Priscilla and her family visited our Sterling Grove guesthouse in Arizona. “I've been with Toll Brothers for over five years but only recently took advantage of the generous guesthouse stay benefit. I recently experienced Arizona's new Sterling Grove guesthouse with my parents, husband, and two sons. I liked everything about the guesthouse - it was luxurious and well-designed. I work as a Design Consultant, so I especially love the design aspects. The house and the experience couldn’t have been more perfect. I can’t tell you how many times that week I said, "I love my company" and "Thank you, Toll Brothers." This was a wonderful experience.”
