Do you want to apply #SQL -based #Observability to understand your web traffic at real-time? How familiar you are with the #nginx access log? Do you know you can generate meaningful access logs just with SQL and Timeplus RANDOM STREAM? (for more sophisticated synthetic data generation you may check shadowtraffic.io from Michael Drogalis ) Check out another great blog from Saïd, our friend in Timeplus community. He explained in detail for the nginx log format, how to parse it with Python regex, and how to generate meaningful content with random streams in Timeplus and use the rich IP/geo SQL functions, and light up a #Grafana dashboard. Check out this blog article written by our Timeplus Community member, Saïd A.! 📝 In a previous blog, Saïd shared how he used Timeplus Proton to perform #realtime and #historical analysis of web traffic, using log files generated by an #Nginx server. In this new blog, Saïd expands on his analysis with data visualizations, using Grafana Labs. He demonstrates how to generate meaningful web access logs using Timeplus Proton's Random Stream feature and #SQL, also how to use rich SQL functions like ip and geo to analyze real-time network traffic data. https://lnkd.in/g79kKygv

🐍➗ New in Timeplus Enterprise: Python User-Defined Functions (UDFs) Our Co-Founder Jove Zhong shares how to leverage #Python libraries, such as #pandas and #NumPy, to build UDFs. Taking financial market data as an example, Jove demos embedding Python code into #SQL syntax. Python UDF is currently a preview feature for self-hosted deployments of Timeplus Enterprise, and is not available in the cloud version. To get early access, please contact us. Using another Python library? Let us know which library and what you are looking to solve with UDFs in the comments 👇

📣 New in our Timeplus Enterprise v2 launch: Mutable KV Streams to support #OLTP workloads. These mutable streams are useful when the same primary key is frequently updated, and are great for certain fast operational queries (like filtering via different secondary columns) as well as retrieving large numbers of rows. Our Co-Founder and Head of Product Jove Zhong shares more in his demo.
