The Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership (TSEP) announced today that Noah Paris has been selected as the Community Development Coordinator. Paris will be filling the role of Corrina Eidt, who will be departing at the end of the month. Eidt previously served as the organization’s Operations Manager, however, the new role will shift to allow more of a focus on community development and grant-writing. Paris, originally from Elida, Ohio, is a graduate of Heidelberg University with degrees in Political Science and Economics. During his time at Heidelberg, Paris was involved in many leadership groups, such as the Berg Events Council (BEC) and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, (SAAC) both of which he served on the executive board for the organizations. During his final year at Heidelberg, Paris had an internship with TSEP where his main role was to reach out to TSEP members to gather information to put on the organization’s website.   “I am very excited to be back with TSEP and a part of a great organization. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with our amazing community and to continue the great work that TSEP has done,” said Paris.  The restructuring of TSEP will allow the organization to apply for additional state, federal, and private grant programs, which will in turn bring new dollars into Seneca County. Furthermore, Paris will serve as the link between TSEP, local government, and local agencies on key community development projects and initiatives. TSEP President & CEO Aaron Montz is thrilled for the changes, stating “Noah was a phenomenal intern in his time with us while he studied at Heidelberg University. He brings a unique skillset to our organization that will fit hand-in-glove as our Community Development Coordinator.”

  • It was a pleasure participating in the ribbon cutting for Good Steward Brewery yesterday in Tiffin. Owners Jaime and Yolanda have long been involved in numerous volunteer initiatives in our community. Now, they've opened their very own brewery, which will help support their nonprofit organization aimed at expanding STEM skills in our schoolchildren. Congratulations, we couldn't be happier for you!

Yesterday, the Seneca Regional Chamber Ambassadors hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of Good Steward Brewery at 277 Wall Street in Tiffin. The event was a wonderful opportunity to welcome Seneca County’s fourth brewery and show support for this exciting new addition to the community. Owned by Jaime Navarrete and Yolanda Gonzales, Good Steward Brewery aims to revive beers once enjoyed at the former Tiffin Brewery, with the help of their production manager, Rose Nguyen. The brewery brings a unique blend of tradition and innovation to Tiffin's brewing scene. Jaime and Yolanda have a long-standing commitment to supporting STEM activities in the community. Over the past ten years, they have been actively involved in after-school STEM programs at Tiffin Middle School and Columbian High School. To expand their outreach, they founded STEMMUnity Inc, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to engaging more students in STEM education. A portion of the building housing Good Steward Brewery will be used by STEMMUnity to continue their important work. What sets Good Steward Brewery apart is their mission-driven approach. The brewery will donate any profit (after expenses) to support STEMMUnity’s goal of building a year-round STEMM facility. This facility will provide FREE activities to area students, allowing them to experience the fun and excitement of STEM. Good Steward Brewery is open Thursday through Saturday from 3 to 10 PM. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the opening of Good Steward Brewery. We are excited to see the positive impact they will have on our community, both through their craft beers and their commitment to fostering STEM education.

Congratulations to Rob Malone and his entire team on the grand opening of The Turntable at 116 South Washington Street in The Laird Arcade! Rob Malone, the owner and chef of The Turntable, grew up in Sycamore, Ohio. After 25 years in the restaurant industry, he returned to the area to reconnect with family and friends.
