Meet Danielle and Mary! Danielle is one of our hardworking RNs who provides excellent care to Mary, a precious little girl full of personality! Despite living with Battens Disease, a rare disorder that causes degeneration of the brain, she loves to spread positivity by making her nurses laugh and giggle. While providing excellent care for Mary on weekend nights, Danielle has been in school full-time. We are extremely proud of her as she will be graduating in December 2024 with her nursing license. She is a true hard worker, team player, and go-getter!

Meet Nadia, an amazing 17-year-old who enjoys spending time with her family and taking walks in nature. Nadia has autoimmune hepatitis and hypersplenism which significantly impacts her daily life. Despite these conditions and having had a liver transplant, she has not let it get the best of her. Since joining the Thrive SPC family in January, consistent nursing and healthier eating have allowed her to flourish, increase independence and meet personal goals. Recently, she attended her prom—we hope she had an amazing time. We are so proud of her progress and love cheering her on!
