🚀 Pioneering Tomorrow: Innovate, Impact, Inspire 🌟 Today, we celebrated our incredible Summer 2024 interns at OCF with the "Pioneering Tomorrow" farewell event! 🎉 Inle and Jaaron made such a huge impact during their 10 weeks with us, and it was inspiring to see them showcase their work and contributions. Jaaron led with his vision for the future of philanthropy and the legacy he wants to create, while Inle emphasized the importance of pouring into the people who do the work. They both shared their site visits, connections, and the lasting impact they hope to leave at OCF. They left us with the question, what legacy do you want to create? We wrapped up the celebration fellowshipping at our Sweet Success Dessert Bar, catered by Ice Queen and Miss'ipi Chef, and gifted the interns with baskets curated by MESO Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon(MESO Makers Market). I’m grateful to have co-led this Summer 2024 internship program. As we conclude the last week of The Script (formerly Emerging Leaders) summer internship, I am thankful for the footprints our interns have left and excited to see where their journey takes them. 🌟 Celebrating National Intern Day with a Spotlight on Isaiah Johnson! 🌟 We are thrilled to celebrate National Intern Day by shining a light on one of our newest team members, Isaiah Johnson, who joined us earlier this summer as an intern from The Script (formerly Emerging Leaders) internship program. Isaiah, a Portland native, graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Finance just last month. Prior to joining our team, he worked for the City of Portland in the Recreation Department for six years. Isaiah has quickly made an impact to our team with his motivation, quick learning, and dedication to excellence. Outside of work, he is an avid traveler. Fun fact: he has visited every continent except Antarctica! 🌍✈️ We are excited to see him continue to learn, develop, and play a major part in the success of our team. 💥 Please allow us to introduce our... summer intern! The one and only Elizabeth Castillo-Salazar. 💥 Elizabeth Castillo-Salazar has a rich history of working with multimedia. She graduated from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication in 2022. She then went on and took on the Newscast Director for KVAL-TV in Eugene. 👏👏👏 Talk about ambition!
