We are thrilled to welcome Zachary Miles and Anhad Soin to The Rounds to help us achieve our mission of making everyday choices effortless and more sustainable than the alternative! 💪 Zach co-founded and scaled his own startup reimagining wholesale distribution after The Wharton School MBA, he thrives in financial management of complex operations. As Head of Strategic Finance, Zach will enhance our strategic financial planning and operational excellence. After graduating from University of Virginia Darden School of Business MBA, Anhad, an elite tennis player, brings his VC finance and business analytics expertise to support financial analysis and drive operational efficiencies as Senior Manager, FP&A. #TheRoundsMafia

Today is Earth Day and by far my favorite part of my job is helping truly innovative companies like The Rounds grow and succeed. We’ve had the privilege at Lantern to work with The Rounds to support their DTC consumer acquisition via digital channels (Meta, Google) and CRO since mid 2023. We’ve seen a lot of wins over the last few months but the biggest personal satisfaction I take is knowing that every winning a/b test or new creative represents another group of fellow urban-dwellers that have switched to a truly sustainable alternative. It means more folks moving away from the mounds of waste that inevitably result from traditional big box e-tail food and grocery deliveries. We’re excited to share in TechCrunch some big steps we’ve taken to prove that last mile delivery can be done efficiently and environmentally. We've grown 6x since raising our Series A and even better, we’ve saved 375,000 pounds of packaging waste. We’re now profitable at the NRC level (Neighborhood Refillment Center, our hyper-local fulfillment centers) because our goal is to build a durable, 100-year company. The fact is that a sustainable business (financially and for the planet) is a good business. If you haven’t checked out The Rounds in a while, we’re now working with local producers to refill more essentials like eggs, dairy, meat, and alcohol. It’s a win-win: neighborhood businesses get to compete online and our Members get the easiest and most sustainable access to the local businesses they love, like bakeries, coffee roasters, and now specialty butchers, cheesemongers, and wine shops too.
