CAH FY25 Grantees: We’re pleased to share our list of FY25 grantees to date, representing 1,089 awards across eight programs and totaling just over $28.5 million. These awards support both individual and organizational grantees in all eight wards of DC, reflecting the diverse talent and creativity found throughout the city. And while these grantees are all part of DC's vibrant arts and humanities community, we recognize they are just one piece of our city's cultural landscape. We remain committed to making our grant processes more equitable and continually learning how to better support all who contribute to DC’s creative spirit. A professional organization at the intersection of#Artists, opportunities, and resources, CODAworx proudly connects #CreativeProfessionals from across the globe. Beyond grateful and excited to announce that I have been selected as one of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities FY25 Grantees! I am ready to bring a new look to Ward 7 while supporting elders who want to exhibit their art! This grant was awarded to me, but will be about bringing change and awareness to Black Women visual artists in my neighborhood!

Each November, Native American Heritage Month is proudly celebrated and observed in the United States. Today as November 2024 begins, CAH stands with its fellow arts institutions such as the Smithsonian Institution, most notably the National Museum of the American Indian to commemorate this important occasion.
