Balancing resource utilization and cost efficiency is like walking a tight rope. Especially for IT services leaders. Too many idle engineers can weigh you down, dragging your profitability into the red. However . . . . . . not having enough hands on deck when demand surges can lead to missed opportunities and client dissatisfaction. Here are 3 things that can help: - Dynamic Scaling: Leveraging freelance talent is like having an adjustable wrench in your toolkit. It allows you to expand your team during peak times without the financial burden of long-term commitments. - Cross-Training: Think of this as your Swiss Army knife approach. By developing a versatile team capable of handling multiple roles, you reduce the need for excess staff and increase operational efficiency. - Effective Forecasting: Data-driven approaches to predict demand are akin to having a weather forecast for your business. It helps you prepare and adjust staffing levels accordingly, ensuring you're neither under nor over-staffed. How do you balance this?

Great recommendation from TBG leadership for our MSP clients. #Managedservice, #VAR's, #ITServices
I found Erick Simpson's 'MSP's Survival Guide to Co-Managed IT Services' to be a goldmine of best practices for MSPs. There's a recurring theme that resonates deeply with our philosophy: making strategic business choices in managing IT services. Instead of heavy investments in building out expansive SOCs, we've chosen to strategically partner with experts in cybersecurity. It elevates service delivery and ensures customer satisfaction. And the client doesn't have to invest heavily in infrastructure or compliance layers. The book underscores the importance of such decisions for delivering superior value and customer satisfaction. Are there any resources or partnerships you've leveraged that transformed your service offering? What takeaways have you applied to your business model?

Happy #NationalParkWeek! Here's a fun baby bison 🦬 fact for you. . 🙏 Thanks to the National Park Service for all you do!
“Great progress for bébé.” - Moira Rose Springtime means baby animals, including bison! Young bison are often referred to as “red dogs” because when they’re born, their fur is orange and red in color. After a few months, the hair changes to a dark brown and they get the characteristic shoulder hump and horns. You’re on your way baby bison! Rock onwards and upwards! As cute and fuzzy as they are, remember to give wildlife room and to use a zoom. Always maintain a distance of at least 100 yards (91 m) away from bears and wolves, and at least 25 yards (23 m) away from all other animals, including bison and elk. Get a closer look by using binoculars, spotting scope, or a zoom lens. Learn more about bison at: https://lnkd.in/gG4jh6Es Image: Young bison calf (red dog) at Yellowstone.
