My mom and I would always have dates at the theatre, so I saw pretty much everything! One memory that stands out the most is seeing the National Tour of ‘The Lion King’ at Jones Hall and realizing that people actually did this for a living... We are so beyond grateful for our summer apprentices! You may have seen our team as they led our summer camps, teaching dance, acting, music, and theatre games to students ages 4-12. They also were a major part of the creative team for the first-ever Texas All-State Musical: Les Misérables! Though the summer apprenticeship is over, we're excited to cheer them on as they continue to shine in all that they do!

Join us at Kinder HSPVA for our Theatre Under The Stars Education INCLUSIVE ARTS SHOWCASE this Friday at 7:30! This fabulous showcase features student performers with disabilities from The River alongside our typical friends from TUTS Humphreys School of Musical Theatre and our community. The best part? This production is student led and student driven. Our ensemble brainstorms all the performance concepts and works together collaboratively to bring them to life. It results in a dynamic evening of duo, small group, and ensemble performances. You won’t want to miss it! General Admission to the Inclusive Arts Showcase is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
